Blue air e gatto a bordo

Ciao a tutti,
Ad agosto dovrei viaggiare con blue air e vorrei portare la mia micia in cabina.
La compagnia non è chiarissima.
Mi hanno comunicato in inglese i requisiti del trasportino chiamandolo "cage" senza farmi capire se fosse ammesso anche un trasportino semirigido.
Inoltre, oltre al microchip (che a detta dei veterinari di catania sarebbe l'unico requisito necessario e sufficiente per far viaggiare la gattina con me) la blue air mi comunica che sono necessari il vaccino antirabbia, la tessera sanitaria, il passaporto del gatto e un certificato del buono stato di salute.
Sono davvero in crisi...
Ho contattato tre veterinari e tutti sostengono sia sufficiente il solo microchip

Darei retta alle linee guida della compagnia. Poi contattali per chiedere piu info sulla questione trasportini.
Il passaporto, vaccino etc tutto quello che ti hanno richiesto, lo chiedono per portare un gatto in Uk, se manca qualcosa, ti rimandano indietro

8.6 LIVE ANIMALS
8.6.1 In the passengers cabin it is permitted to carry small living animals belonging to the PET category (pet + cage in a total of maximum weight of 6 kg.) cats or dogs, in special cages with the maximum dimensions of 45x30x23cm, the owner having the responsibility to hold them during the flight. In this case, the transportation is against a EUR 35 charge/animal/ flight segment if the ticket is purchased via our web page or via the Reservation and Customer Service Department and 50 EUR charge/animal / flight segment if the ticket/SSR is purchased at the airport as part of the check-in procedures.
Passengers traveling with PET (dog or cat + cage of maximum 6kg) in the airplane cabin must go to the check-in desk in the airport at least 90 minutes before departure, with the documents mentioned in art. 8.6.4, to carry out the necessary formalities related to the PET. Passengers traveling with PET are required to go to the check-in desk even if the online check-in was made and/ or passengers have no baggage to register.
8.6.2 Carriage of average living animals, dogs or cats is permitted in the aircraft hold provided that such animals are kept in standardized cages according to IATA Regulations, cages with the maximum dimensions of 120 cm x 80 cm x 80 cm, and that their number does not exceed three on one flight. The carriage shall be made against payment, at the tariff of EUR 75 charge/animal / flight segment applicable on the gross weight (cage and animal- max 32KG) if the ticket is purchased via our web page or via the Reservation and Customer Service Department and 100 EUR charge/ animal/ flight segment if the ticket/SSR is purchased at the airport as part of the check-in procedures.
If the total weight of the animal + the cage exceeds the designated 32 kg, a tax of 50 EUR/ 50 GBP/ 250 RON will be imposed, tax that can be paid only during check-in formalities.

8.6.3 Only dogs and cats may be carried in the passenger cabin, as well as in the aircraft hold, and only under the conditions mentioned in the Articles of Chapter 8.6.

8.6.4 In order to travel with a pet in an EU State, live animals must meet the following requirements:
- have a microchip implanted under the skin;
- have a health certificate;
- have a valid rabies vaccine, in accordance to the following EU legislation: http://ec.europa.eu/food/animals/pet-movement/eu-legislation/non-commercial-eu_en
- have a passport for animals, issued by the veterinarian.

8.6.5 For the flights operated to Great Britain and from London (Luton), no live animals may be transported either in the passenger cabin, or in the hold.
Starting with January 1st, 2012, for all flights to/from Ireland, live animals (cats and dogs) can be transported under the conditions mentioned above (articles 8.6.1, 8.6.2 and 8.6.3), plus the conditions available here.

8.6.6 For passengers traveling with a pet in cabin, the allocation of seats will be on the penultimate row, in order not to create any discomfort to other passengers.

Per viaggiare serve il passaporto europeo che si ottiene facendo anche la vaccinazione antirabbica. Informati sulle modalitaˋ esatte presso l'ASL veterinaria della tua cittaˋanche perché l'antirabbica va fatta -se non ricordo male- almeno 21gg prima dell'emissione del passaporto

Si ma io devo viaggiare in territorio nazionale, non devo andare in uk

Valgono le linee guida della compagnia, non le idee dei veterinari, a meno che questi ultimi non siano i proprietari della Blue air.

Attenta anche al peso perché se supera i 6 kg probabilmente vorranno fartelo imbarcare.

A proposito di direttive assurde.. vogliono un trasportino delle seguenti dimensioni massime 45x30x23, dove 23 deve essere l'altezza, 30 la larghezza e 45 la lunghezza massime.
dove caspiterina posso trovarlo?

Puoi usare borse morbide? Su zooplus ce n'è una delle dimensioni adatte

Mi sbagliavo, è fuori misura di due centrimentri. Non so se ci entra un gatto in quelle dimensioni, sono tutte più grandi...

Alla fine ho deciso di non assecondare le pretese assurde di questa compagnia (vedi vaccino antirabbica per viaggiare in Italia) e ho preso il biglietto con Alitalia.
Ho preso un trasportino della trixie, modello Fiona, di dimensioni perfette per quanto richiesto da Alitalia.
Oggi Minú ha messo il microchip.

Approfitto della vostra gentilezza per quella che sarà una domanda sciocca ma essendo la prima volta sono del tutto ignorante... l'acqua può dare problemi al microchip? Quando fa caldo, la gattina adora inumidirsi sotto un filo d'acqua, può danneggiare il microchip?
Scusate la domanda che a molti potrà sembrare sciocca.

Assolutamente no. Molti gatti hanno il microchip, a prescindere dai voli aerei, e come farebbero a bere o
se venissero a contatto con l'acqua?

Non serve assolutamente il passaporto se viaggi in Italia; hai fatto comunque bene a cambiare compagnia viste le pretese sul trasportino, ma non potevano importi di fare il passaporto se non devi andare all'estero (e di conseguenza nemmeno antirabbica).

Il microchip non da nessun problema, la gatta può fare anche il bagno tranquillamente:)
